- 2 cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of maple syrup
- 1/2 cup of chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters and place them in the baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and maple syrup.
- Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon rolls, ensuring they are well coated.
- If using, sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is golden brown and set in the middle.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with icing from the cinnamon rolls if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use half-and-half instead of milk.
- Feel free to add raisins or chocolate chips for extra sweetness.
