A hearty and flavorful twist on the classic Reuben sandwich, baked to perfection.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf of rye bread
- 1 pound of corned beef, sliced
- 1 cup of sauerkraut, drained
- 1 cup of Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup of Russian or Thousand Island dressing
- 1/4 cup of butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the rye bread slices on the bottom of the dish.
- Spread half of the dressing over the bread.
- Add half of the corned beef, followed by half of the sauerkraut and half of the cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Top with the remaining rye bread slices and brush with melted butter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute corned beef with grilled vegetables.
- Serve with extra dressing on the side for dipping.
