- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together honey and soy sauce.
- Place the meatballs in a baking dish and pour the honey garlic sauce over them.
- Add the cooked rice and broccoli florets to the baking dish, mixing gently to combine.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
- For added flavor, you can include sesame seeds as a garnish.
