Description

A delightful and elegant dessert that combines the floral notes of lavender with the sweetness of honey in a creamy cheesecake.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup honey
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon culinary lavender
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add honey and mix until well combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in culinary lavender and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Before serving, top with sour cream and a sprinkle of lavender if desired.
