Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Irish whiskey
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
- Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until softened.
- Pour in the Irish whiskey, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the heavy cream and let it cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, let the sauce simmer longer.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or over pasta for a complete meal.
