Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine butter, sugar, and water over medium heat, stirring until the mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Continue to boil for about 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly until the mixture turns a golden brown color.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the toffee mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee and let them sit for a few minutes to melt.
  7. Once melted, spread the chocolate evenly over the toffee.
  8. Sprinkle chopped nuts and sea salt on top of the chocolate.
  9. Let the bark cool completely before breaking it into pieces.
