Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or pecans)
- Sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine butter, sugar, and water over medium heat, stirring until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Continue to boil for about 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly until the mixture turns a golden brown color.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the toffee mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot toffee and let them sit for a few minutes to melt.
- Once melted, spread the chocolate evenly over the toffee.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts and sea salt on top of the chocolate.
- Let the bark cool completely before breaking it into pieces.
