Description

A hearty and flavorful casserole featuring Italian sausage and colorful bell peppers, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned.
  3. Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the skillet and sauté until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
