- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 cup chopped pecans (for coating)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, green onions, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Shape the mixture into a football shape and wrap it in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
- Once firm, remove from the refrigerator and roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans to coat.
- Serve with crackers or veggies for dipping.
Notes
- For a spicier version, use fresh jalapeños instead of pickled.
- This cheese ball can be made a day in advance.
- Garnish with additional green onions or bacon bits before serving.
