- 12 large mushrooms
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 jalapenos, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the stuffed mushrooms.
- Drizzle olive oil over the mushrooms.
- Place the mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, leave some seeds in the jalapenos.
- These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
