A delicious and spicy take on the classic pigs in a blanket, featuring jalapeno poppers.
Ingredients

- 1 package of mini hot dogs
- 1 can of crescent roll dough
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup jalapenos, diced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, diced jalapenos, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a mini hot dog at the wide end of each triangle and add a spoonful of the jalapeno mixture on top.
- Roll the dough around the hot dog and jalapeno mixture, starting from the wide end.
- Place the wrapped pigs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, use spicy jalapenos or add hot sauce to the cream cheese mixture.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
