A flavorful marinade that enhances the taste of skirt steak, perfect for grilling.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Add minced garlic, brown sugar, black pepper, onion powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes to the mixture.
  3. Mix until the sugar is dissolved and all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Place the skirt steak in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
  5. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well coated.
  6. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  7. Remove the steak from the marinade and grill to your desired doneness.

Notes

  • For best results, marinate the steak overnight.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
  • This marinade also works well with other cuts of beef.
