Ingredients

- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add minced garlic, brown sugar, black pepper, onion powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes to the mixture.
- Mix until the sugar is dissolved and all ingredients are well combined.
- Place the skirt steak in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
- Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and grill to your desired doneness.
Notes
- For best results, marinate the steak overnight.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- This marinade also works well with other cuts of beef.
