Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup corn (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and minced garlic. Add the sliced beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the corn. Sauté for about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir until combined. Let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. In another skillet, cook the marinated beef over high heat until browned and cooked through.
  5. To serve, place cooked rice in a bowl, top with the beef, and drizzle with the corn sauce. Garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add gochujang to the marinade.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli to the beef.
