Description

A quick and comforting Korean dish made with ground beef, soy sauce, and vegetables, served over rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup steamed rice
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Vegetables (like broccoli or carrots) for serving

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a small bowl. Pour over the cooked beef and stir to combine.
  3. Let the mixture simmer for about 3-5 minutes until heated through.
  4. Serve the beef mixture over steamed rice and top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  5. Add your favorite vegetables on the side.

Notes

Fresh garlic and ginger enhance the flavors. Feel free to tweak the amount of brown sugar based on your taste preferences.
