Description

A refreshing and unique sorbet made with lemon and basil, perfect for summer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves


Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the basil leaves and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  4. Strain the basil syrup into a bowl and mix in the lemon juice.
  5. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Transfer the sorbet to a container and freeze until firm.
