Description
A refreshing and unique sorbet made with lemon and basil, perfect for summer.
Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the basil leaves and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Strain the basil syrup into a bowl and mix in the lemon juice.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer the sorbet to a container and freeze until firm.

- For a stronger basil flavor, let the basil steep longer in the syrup.
