- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix the lemon cake mix, water, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Pour the lemon cake mixture over the cream cheese layer in the baking dish.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
