Description

Delicious and tangy lemon-flavored Rice Krispy treats perfect for spring.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal


Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest.
  4. Add the Rice Krispies cereal and mix until well coated.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  6. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
