Description

Delicious and refreshing lime sugar cookies perfect for spring desserts.


Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • 1/4 cup lime juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, lime zest, and lime juice.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  6. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden.
  8. Let cool on wire racks.
