A delicious cake infused with the flavors of Earl Grey tea and lavender, perfect for tea time or any special occasion.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves
- 1 tablespoon dried lavender
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk, Earl Grey tea leaves, and dried lavender.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Frost with your favorite lavender or vanilla frosting.

- For a stronger flavor, steep the Earl Grey tea leaves in the milk for 10 minutes before adding.
