Description

A delightful combination of creamy mac and cheese sandwiched between two slices of perfectly grilled bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cup of mac and cheese
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the bread.
  4. Spoon the mac and cheese over the cheddar cheese.
  5. Add the second slice of cheddar cheese on top of the mac and cheese.
  6. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  7. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add spices to the mac and cheese before assembling the sandwich.
  • Serve with a side of hearty soup for a complete meal.
