Description

A delicious side dish combining the sweetness of maple syrup with the savory flavor of bacon, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound baby carrots
  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  2. Add the baby carrots to the skillet and sauté in the bacon drippings for about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the maple syrup and butter, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the carrots are tender.
  5. Stir in the cooked bacon before serving.
