- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar

- 1 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
- 2 tablespoons dried lavender
- 2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- While the cookies cool, prepare the lavender frosting by mixing powdered sugar, dried lavender, and milk until smooth.
- Once the cookies are completely cool, frost them with the lavender frosting.
