- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tbsp olive oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and beaten egg.
- Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce or in a pita.
Notes
- For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
- These patties can be baked in the oven at 400°F for 20-25 minutes instead of frying.
