A delightful recipe for Mediterranean meatball appetizers served with a refreshing tzatziki sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, parsley, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into small meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Serve the meatballs warm with tzatziki sauce on the side.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture.
- These meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
