Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • Butter, for spreading

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut the bread into heart shapes.
  3. Spread butter on one side of each heart-shaped bread slice.
  4. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  5. Add a slice of cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
  6. Top with another slice of bread, butter side up.
  7. Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from skillet and repeat with remaining ingredients.

  • Use different types of cheese for variety.
  • Serve with tomato soup for dipping.
