Ingredients

- 1 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten and at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk chocolate pastel M&Ms
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Beat softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth and creamy in a separate bowl.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix just until a dough forms.
- Scoop dough into balls about 2–3 tablespoons each and place 2–3 inches apart on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges begin to lightly brown.
- Remove from oven and immediately press nine M&Ms into each cookie to form a bunny face.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Chill the dough for 30 minutes for enhanced flavors. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
