- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Mix in the flour until just combined.
- Divide the batter among the muffin cups, filling each about halfway.
- Add a teaspoon of Nutella to each muffin cup, then swirl it into the batter with a toothpick.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before enjoying!
Notes
For lower sugar levels, use sugar substitutes like stevia, monk fruit, or allulose.
