- 2 cups of mixed nuts
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of corn syrup
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and butter over medium heat. Stir until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and baking soda.
- Add the mixed nuts to the saucepan and stir until they are well coated.
- Spread the nut mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
