Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the whipping cream and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add them to the butter mixture, mixing well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured bundt pan.
- Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can substitute almond extract for half of the vanilla extract.
