One Pot Lasagna Pasta Recipe

Description

A delicious and easy recipe for making lasagna in one pot, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce, water, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Break the lasagna noodles in half and add them to the pot.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover and let it sit for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
