- 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
- Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
- In a saucepan, melt the chocolate chips over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the whipped cream and continue to whip until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream until fully combined.
- Pour the chocolate mousse into the cooled Oreo crust and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- Top with additional whipped cream and Oreo crumbs for garnish.
- This pie can be made a day in advance for convenience.
