Description

A delicious and easy recipe for crispy oven fried feta rolls, perfect as an appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

  • 200g feta cheese
  • 4 sheets of phyllo pastry
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, crumble the feta cheese and mix it with oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Lay one sheet of phyllo pastry on a clean surface and brush it lightly with olive oil.
  4. Place another sheet on top and brush it again with olive oil.
  5. Cut the layered phyllo into strips.
  6. Place a spoonful of the feta mixture at one end of each strip and roll it up tightly.
  7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

  • Serve warm with a dipping sauce of your choice.
  • Can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
