- 4 slices of bread
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup caramelized onions
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add butter and toast the bread slices until golden brown.
- On two slices of toasted bread, layer the cooked beef, caramelized onions, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread to form sandwiches.
- Return the sandwiches to the skillet and cook until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown on both sides.
- Slice in half and serve warm.
