- 6 slices of French bread, cubed
- 2 ripe peaches, sliced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Butter (for greasing the dish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Beat together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Layer half of the cubed bread in the greased dish.
- Spread the softened cream cheese over the bread and top with sliced peaches.
- Pour the egg mixture over the peaches and remaining bread cubes. Press slightly to ensure bread is soaked.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Remove from the refrigerator and let sit for 30 minutes when ready to bake.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until golden and set.
- Serve warm, optionally drizzled with syrup or powdered sugar.
