Description

Delicious and guilt-free peanut butter eggs that combine creamy natural peanut butter with dark chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (dark or sugar-free)
  • Cocoa powder (for dusting, optional)


Instructions

  1. Mix peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  2. Form the mixture into egg shapes and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Freeze the eggs for about 30 minutes until firm.
  4. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
  5. Dip each peanut butter egg in the melted chocolate to coat, then return to the baking sheet.
  6. Refrigerate until the chocolate has set.
