- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs in a food processor.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese until well blended.
- Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
- Stir in the peppermint extract into the melted chocolate.
- Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Place the chocolate-coated truffles back on the parchment paper.
- Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top of the truffles before the chocolate sets.
- Refrigerate until the chocolate is firm.
Notes
- For a stronger peppermint flavor, increase the amount of peppermint extract.
