Ingredients

- 2 lbs lamb or beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 large onion, grated
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers (metal or soaked wooden)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine grated onion, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper.
- Add the meat cubes to the marinade and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated meat onto the skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add bell peppers or onions to the skewers.
- Serve with rice or flatbread for a complete meal.
- Adjust the marinade ingredients according to your taste preferences.
