- 10 jalapeños
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 lb turkey bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 tbsp BBQ rub (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and shredded cheese until well combined.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
- Sprinkle BBQ rub on top if desired.
- Place the pig shots in the smoker and cook for about 2 hours, or until the bacon is crispy.
- Remove from the smoker and let cool slightly before serving.
