Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, sift together the cake flour and 3/4 cup of the sugar.
- In another bowl, beat the egg whites, salt, and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add the remaining sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in the flour mixture, vanilla extract, almond extract, and pink food coloring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into an ungreased angel food cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cake springs back when touched.
- Invert the pan and let the cake cool completely before removing it from the pan.

- Do not grease the pan, as the cake needs to cling to the sides to rise properly.
