Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, protein powder, coconut sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fill the donut pan with the batter, about 3/4 full for each donut.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
