Description

A delicious fall treat that combines the flavors of pumpkin and cinnamon in a delightful bake.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cloves
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the melted butter into the mixture and stir until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
