Ingredients

- 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt to taste
- 4 flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the flour tortillas into triangles and place them on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the tortilla triangles.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until crispy and golden.
- Serve the salsa with the cinnamon chips for dipping.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less jalapeño.
- For a healthier option, use whole wheat tortillas.
- Let the salsa sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
