Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract to the yeast mixture.
- Gradually mix in flour and salt until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread fresh raspberries on top.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
- Place the slices in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter roll, add a glaze made of powdered sugar and milk on top.
- These rolls can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
- Experiment with other berries for different flavors.
