- 1 tablespoon baking powder

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a large bowl.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Mix the buttermilk and melted butter in another bowl.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
