Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Trim the broccoli head and slice it into thick steaks, about 1 inch wide.
- In a large bowl, toss the broccoli steaks with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
- Arrange the broccoli steaks on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until charred and tender.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding lemon juice or parmesan cheese before serving.
- Broccoli stems can also be roasted; just slice them into smaller pieces.
