  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well blended.
  2. Add the chopped green onions, pecans, cranberries, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  4. Once chilled, remove the cheese ball from the wrap and roll it in the chopped parsley to coat the outside.
  5. Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add some diced jalapeños to the mixture.
