- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well blended.
- Add the chopped green onions, pecans, cranberries, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
- Once chilled, remove the cheese ball from the wrap and roll it in the chopped parsley to coat the outside.
- Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables for dipping.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some diced jalapeños to the mixture.
- This cheese ball can be made a day in advance for convenience.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
