Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together apple cider, maple syrup, and Dijon mustard.
  5. Pour the apple cider mixture over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meatballs are cooked through.
  7. Serve warm, drizzled with the sauce from the slow cooker.
