A simple and flavorful recipe for Sheet Pan Chicken Pitas served with a delicious herby ranch dressing.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup mixed greens
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup herby ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss the chicken strips with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the chicken on a sheet pan and roast for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the pitas by warming them in the oven for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  5. Once the chicken is done, assemble the pitas by adding mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and chicken.
  6. Drizzle with herby ranch dressing and serve immediately.

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like cucumbers or bell peppers.
