A comforting and hearty Shepherd’s Pie Casserole perfect for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and diced carrots, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the frozen peas, beef broth, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer for about 10 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes on top.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the mashed potatoes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
