Shrimp Quesadilla with Melty Cheese

Description

A delicious and cheesy shrimp quesadilla that is easy to make and perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, season the shrimp with garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, place one tortilla and sprinkle half of the cheese on one half of the tortilla.
  5. Add a portion of the cooked shrimp on top of the cheese.
  6. Fold the tortilla over and cook until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and ingredients.
  8. Slice the quesadillas and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
