Description

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh herbs (such as thyme or rosemary)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your cast iron skillet over medium heat.
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and place the chicken thighs skin-side down.
  4. Cook for about 7-8 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  5. Flip the chicken thighs and add fresh herbs to the skillet.
  6. Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Check the internal temperature to ensure it reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
