- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh herbs (such as thyme or rosemary)
Instructions
- Preheat your cast iron skillet over medium heat.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and place the chicken thighs skin-side down.
- Cook for about 7-8 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Flip the chicken thighs and add fresh herbs to the skillet.
- Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Check the internal temperature to ensure it reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
